We have chosen the Japanese sign Chikara as the name for our company. Chikara in Japanese means inner strength and that is our aim – strengthen individuals and groups.

Chikara Consulting is a Dubai based consultancy that specializes in developing individuals and teams through executive coaching, trainings and inspiring seminars. We work with sales teams and senior management in organizations throughout the world.

Oskar Andermo, the founder of Chikara Consulting, has worked in hospitality since he was 15 years old, when his father opened up a restaurant in Sweden. He has worked for hotels in Sweden, Australia, Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates. His work and studies in more than seven countries have given him a broad understanding and respect for different cultures.

Oskar became interested very early in personal development and learning. For more than a decade he has continuously studied sales, marketing, peak performance, entrepreneurship and self-improvement. Apart from being an entrepreneur, he is also a business coach, speaker and writer. He is also responsible for building up the US brand HelmsBriscoe as its Regional Vice President in the Middle East.

He constantly looks for ways to make things better and help others. In 2011 he become the first ICC certified coach in the UAE.

Oskar is also the founder of Strategic Tech Coaching., a coaching methodology that incorporates technology with traditional coaching methods

Oskar is happily married to Aki, his Japanese wife and his inspiration to start Chikara Consulting.
